Comfort and private!

The overall external look of the hotel is a bit historic which isnt an issue. I was surprised at how modern the inside of the rooms were..however they have exceptional customer service and a tpp tier valet service. I would definitely stay here again.

The manager was rude & fady at the front desk was rude. No shower did not drain. We contacted the front desk. They sent someone to try to get the drain unclogged & they were unsuccessful. After the drain clog was unsuccessful I went to the front desk because I needed to take a shower. The lady proceeded to give me very unhappily on my, a key to another room that was uninhabitable because of the air conditioning being out. She told me do not use the shower in my room, but I can go upstairs to another room and use that room shower. This was at 2 o’clock in the morning. It was very unsafe, and uncomfortable. The next morning the manager was very hesitant to refund our money. I would not recommend this property until all renovations are complete and they have new management.

Great stay in Birmingham

Walking distance to eat @ Uptown Cantina was fun and the concert @ Coca Cola Amphitheater. Very nice hotel and staff were friendly during our visit. Loved the workout room and breakfast was good.

Came in and went to the restaurant to eat dinner at 8. The staff said they are closing early it was quiet and they wanted to go home. Leaving us with no food on the premises. Bedroom floors are filthy and stained, empty conditioner in the shower, fridge in room so loud had to be unplugged. Valet was great, the outside of the building is beautiful. Definitely a catfish situation. Beautiful in the pictures and from the outside. This should be a 2 star hotel.

Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working properly the first night. When I returned the second night, the front desk had box fans for those who requested one. The office staff was very friendly and I loved the history about the hotel.
