The pool was drained and green. The room was halfway painted. The flooring in the room was bubbling up The staff lady at the front desk was nice. I’m pretty sure each day when they made my bed they either had just smoked pot or they smoked it by my door before coming in. Room reeked of it each day I got back.

I always stay here when I come to Birmingham. This time I booked the suite, because I had additional guest. On the web page it looked ideal for what I needed. That is not what I got..when I arrived. The gentleman that helped me was very accommodating about changing rooms. That is my only complaint and the pool wasn't ready.

The room itself was okay- much left to be desired but for the price it was fine. The free breakfast was sad with just a couple of items. Safety was definitely a concern- we had 2 vagrants next to our room going through bags of clothes and the trash can outside our room while fighting with one another. 3 calls to the front desk and 2 hours of waiting for someone to come and remove them from the premises. I would not stay here again

Hotel is ok for a short stay duration. The only bad thing and major for me was the bed was not comfortable and loud. The AC was loud too. I see they have upgraded some of the rooms but those type of beds with metal frames make loud noises eveytime you turn. Sheets and pillowcases could be a little fresher too. Few long hairs left from previous guests or whoever made the bed.

The property in itself was superb with one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in a hotel room...The staff was very cordial and polite...the only thing wrong had nothing to do with the hotel facilities, but it appeared that the location was in a kind of seedy location next to an abandoned coal processing plant...other than that if I ever go back to Birmingham...I will automatically check into this facility...Regards, BJA

The hotel and room itself were clean. However, it does not seem to be a safe area. I got out of my car and let my dogs sniff around. A car drove up to me and solicited me drugs. Then I walked the dogs across the street to a field, which was nice. But the gas station also seemed to have a solicitation concern. So o told the dogs thy couldn’t go out after dark and we just shut ourselves in the room and triple locked the door for the night!!

Had a condom wrapper on the floor,heat in the room didn’t seam to work, Parkin lot ground was a mess, lady at the front desk was very rude, I WOULD NEVER GO BACK, and I would advise anyone to sleep in there car before supporting this place

You get what you pay for. The pics THEY show are not an accuraterepresentation... Hair in the shower. Hair on the towels. Toilet was loose/moved around. I could hear the next room shower/run water. Pool drained with green water left at bottom. Breakfast was pretty sad, eggs were gross. Didn't feel the safest. It was cheap. Staff was nice. Idk if id stay again.
