Birmingham stay

My daughter and I came to do some shopping. We needed a “no frills” place to stay as we were only there at night to sleep. It was nice and clean and they had a continental breakfast to eat. Nothing heavy which was fine. Only thing I missed was coffee pot in room but there was coffee downstairs.

This was one of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We arrived at 9:15pm with a toddler only to discover our room was 85 degrees. When I talked to the guy at the front desk he told us that every room is like that (so no option to switch) and no one has ever complained about it (yeah right). Ultimately it took 3 hours to cool down to 72. The hotel also had a strong smoke smell throughout. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
