"We checked in late. The lady who helped us was very kind. We stayed for the weekend, and they are updating stuff. So we tried to use the shower, and it wasn't draining, so they moved us to the new building and rooms. Very beautiful and clean, I loved how they treated us here. We felt out of place being from a different culture and race, but this made us feel human, and they always smiled. No one was rude, and I appreciate that so much."

"I booked this motel because the Expedia listing prominently showed a beautiful river view, which was the main reason I chose it over cheaper options. However, the Queen room I was first given faced the road and had no view at all. When I raised the issue, I was told that only King rooms have a view and that I would need to pay an upgrade fee. I paid an additional fee, but the replacement room still had most of the view blocked by a large tree, despite the motel being nearly empty. The front desk interaction was unfriendly and unhelpful throughout. I also felt uncomfortable with how the discussion about my dog was handled and would have appreciated a calmer, more respectful explanation of the motel’s pet and service animal policy. Overall, the experience felt misleading and unnecessarily frustrating."
