New! Luxury ski-in/ ski-out home on Little Thunder Run with hot tub

Welcome to Lone Peak Sanctuary!
There are some homes in Big Sky where the setting does most of the talking. Lone Peak Sanctuary is one of them.
From the moment you walk through the door, your eyes are drawn straight to Lone Peak. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the main living space with mountain views, and you'll find yourself pausing for a moment just to take it all in. With unobstructed views from nearly every room, this is a home where the scenery is always part of the experience.

After a day on the mountain, settle into the living room with a seat on the large sectional or one of the two comfortable chairs. Start a fire, put on a movie, or simply sit back and watch the light change across Lone Peak. The open layout makes it easy for everyone to be together without feeling crowded.

Just beyond the living room, the dining table seats six and sits beside a built-in wine fridge. It's the kind of space where dinners tend to last a little longer, whether you're sharing stories from the day or planning tomorrow's adventure.

The kitchen is right around the corner and is made for being part of the conversation. Rich wood cabinetry, a distinctive backsplash, updated appliances, and a large island with seating for two give you everything you need to make breakfast before heading out or prepare dinner for the group. The pass-through window keeps the kitchen connected to the living and dining areas, so the cook never has to miss out on the fun.
When it's time to head outside, large sliding doors open to a covered patio overlooking the mountains. Fire up the grill for dinner, step into the private hot tub, and let the day wind down. There's something pretty special about soaking in the hot tub while surrounded by Big Sky's mountain landscape.

The main level is also home to two bedrooms. The primary suite is a peaceful retreat with a king-size bed, fireplace, TV, and direct access to the patio. Its en-suite bathroom features dual vanities, a standing shower, and a soaking tub positioned to take advantage of the Lone Peak views. The second bedroom on this level also features a king-size bed and its own en-suite bathroom with a standing shower.
A full-size mudroom and laundry room make coming and going easy, with plenty of space to drop ski gear, boots, coats, and everything else you bring along for a Montana adventure. There's also a half bathroom conveniently located on the main level.

Upstairs, the home takes on a more relaxed feel. A second living area gives everyone another place to gather, whether it's movie night, a board game, or simply some downtime after a full day outside. The wet bar makes grabbing a drink or snack easy, while the shelves filled with board games are ready for a little friendly competition.

Two more bedrooms are located upstairs. One features a king-size bed, TV, beautiful Lone Peak views, and a private en-suite bathroom with a standing shower. The second bedroom is especially fun for kids, with two twin-size bunk beds. The two upstairs bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with dual vanities and a standing shower.

With four bedrooms and plenty of space to gather, Lone Peak Sanctuary works beautifully for families and groups who want to spend time together while still having room to spread out. And with the three-car garage, there's plenty of space to keep your vehicles and outdoor gear protected.

Then there's the location. When you're ready to ski, step outside and make your way to the Little Thunder trail. Follow it down to Cascade, continue through the ski tunnel beneath the road, and take the White Otter lift toward the Big Sky Resort base area. At the end of the day, follow the ski route back through White Otter and Cascade, then take Little Thunder right back to the home.

Whether your perfect Big Sky day means first tracks on the mountain, a long lunch with family, a soak in the hot tub, or watching the sunset over Lone Peak with a glass of wine, Lone Peak Sanctuary gives you a beautiful place to experience it all.

This is more than a place to stay in Big Sky. It's a place to slow down, reconnect, and make the kind of mountain memories you'll want to come back for.

Ski Access
Please note: Lift access in November, early December, and April may be limited or unavailable. Please check the Big Sky Resort website for the most current lift operating schedule before making your reservation.

Starting Your Ski Day
Follow Little Thunder down to Cascade, then continue through the ski tunnel beneath the road. Take the White Otter lift toward the Big Sky Resort main base area. The easiest route is to make an immediate right onto the narrow traverse on the right side of White Wing to reach the base area.

Returning Home
At the end of your ski day, look for the four trail signs and follow the designated route toward the base of the Cascade lift. Follow the main trail, making sure to take the sharp left over the White Otter Access Bridge. Continue straight downhill along the trail beneath the White Otter lift.
At the base of White Otter, you'll see the Cascade lift. As you ski off Cascade, make a hard right toward the Little Thunder lift, which will bring you right back to 6 Little Thunder.

It was a great experience for us. The house was super clean and comfortable. We had great weather for skiing and enjoyed hanging out at the house in the evening. Getting to the mountain was very easy getting back was a little bit more difficult but doable.
