Saddle Ridge H2 also known as the Bear's Lair Chalet sits on the slope with true ski-in/ski-out access and unbeatable Lone Peak Views!! This luxury slopeside Saddle Ridge has rustic hardwood floors granite counters and stainless steel appliances plenty of seating in the living room along with outdoor seating and a gas grill on the deck. With TV's in every room a king bed in the master suite and a private outdoor hot tub with some of the best views in all of Big Sky the Bear's Lair Chalet is the place to be for your home away from home.

Jump on the slopes on a Powder Day from this mid-mountain location and beat everyone that is boarding a lift from the base areas. More fresh powder for you!! AND you can easily ski back to your door for lunch or a quick cup of hot chocolate. Enjoy an afternoon or evening soak in the slope side hot tub as you enjoy a beverage of your choice and just relax with friends or family.

This 3 bedroom unit has a master suite on the top level with king bed TV and private bath. There is also a twin sleeping loft in the master bedroom perfect for a child that wants to be near mom and dad or for an additional twin bed for those that need an extra bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are both located on the lower level with a full bath on the hallway. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and TV and walks out to the 6 person private outdoor hot tub and breathtaking views. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and a twin bed as well as a TV and spectacular mountain views.

The laundry room with full size washer/dryer is located 1/2 flight of stairs down from Bedroom 2 and 3. We provide all laundry detergent and fabric softener.

There is parking for 2 cars directly in front of the front door along with private ski racks on the front porch. It is so easy to unload bags and groceries or hop in the car for a quick outing or delicious dinner.

* Big Sky Resort officially opens for ski season the Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day. This property is ski-in/ski-out via the Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts. Early and late season ski access is condition dependent and may vary. All lift operations are completely at Big Sky Resort's discretion.

Saddle Ridge is a great location! The ski in ski out is a huge plus. The H2 unit is lovely, well stocked, and has a great view. If I come back to Big Sky, I’d absolutely stay here again!

We had a great trip. Rental was as described and and the hosts were very accommodating. We skied in and out from the back patio—in required skiing over a narrow flat path. We enjoyed the house and the hot tub very much. Our third trip to Big Sky and our favorite location so far.

Great Mountain View condo with ski in/ski out access. Very secluded location as well within big sky away from all of the main traffic areas which was nice (I say secluded and it was only a 5 minute drive to the resort and 10 to the town village so still very close to everything). It was very clean and cozy giving great mountain vibes. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone going to big sky and will definitely return.

Excellent location and beautiful property!

My family and I recently spent several days at Saddle Ridge H2 and we loved every moment. The property manager was extremely responsive and easy to communicate and work with. The kitchen and other amenities were excellent. We definitely enjoyed our time and would love to come back if we make our way back to Big Skybin the future!

Run the Rut race weekend

The unit and its location were fantastic. It was convenient to the base for race logistics and close and easy to get to spectator zones for the races. Check in was simple and easy and the unit had everything a group would need for a great stay.

Comfy and well-equipped condo!

This is a very comfortable and well-equipped condo, just above a ski run for easy access to the slopes. The whole rental process was very simple, the owner was quick and clear with all communication. Very quiet location, which we prefer, but note that it is not at the Mountain Village so a car is pretty much required to get to stores, restaurants, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

Spring Break Ski Week

We absolutely loved our stay at Saddle Ridge for our 1st experience at Big Sky. The accommodations were perfect for our two families of three, including four adults and two teenage boys. We found the unit to be even better than advertised, especially the views of the mountain ridge and peaks. It had everything we needed for a week of R&R, and we all agreed we would choose it again when we plan our return.

Moonlight Basin condo

A great ski house. Comfortable accommodations for my husband, myself and our three adult sons. The WiFi was good and the kitchen well equipped. It was a very short walk to access the ski trail to either the Iron Horse or Pony Express lifts. I definitely recommend this front row unit as the views of the mountain sunrise and slopes are beautiful.

A true ski in/ski out condo

The family greatly enjoyed the true ski in/out location, the hot tub, and the community. Big Sky is beautiful, cold, and dry in the wintertime, so the provided humidifiers were a very welcomed amenity! We also found the welcome basket to be a lovely surprise. The property managers provided timely and comprehensive communication before and during our stay.

Wow, what can I say, it was a beautiful condo in a great location. We were able to ski out and back without difficulty. The best equipped condo we have ever stayed in over 40 years of ski trips...wonderful pots and pans for the few meals we ended up cooking there, more wine glasses/dishes/ casseroles than we needed, very well equipped. Acra was a wonderful host, very helpful with any question we had, A lovely getaway..,

Mountain Escape

We had a great stay in this townhome for our last week of online schooling. We loved exploring the trails around Moonlight Basin. The Village is a short 5 minute ride from the home to pick up groceries and dining and of course the ride on 6-Shooter to the top. The home is well furnished with kitchen supplies which is unsual for rentals. We look forward to renting from Acra again!!
