We recently stayed at this property and overall had an okay experience, but there were several issues worth noting.The space itself feels older and could definitely use some updating and a deeper clean. Unfortunately, we found rat droppings in the pullout couch, which was concerning. The fireplace was also not working — there was a laminated sign indicating it had been broken for quite some time, so this did not seem like a recent issue. The unit was quite cold, and there was only one small portable heater available.There is a shower located in the second bedroom, which was unexpected but actually useful. Towels appeared clean, though we weren’t sure when the blankets had last been washed.On the positive side, the check-in/check-out office staff were very friendly and helpful. However, I did have to reach out to the host to obtain check-in information, as it was never sent proactively. The location was decent and convenient enough.With some updates, improved communication, and better attention to cleanliness, this could be a much better stay.
