Love the walkable distance to the village. Good room. Some areas needed some maintenance and cleaning. Also, the room wasn’t very quiet, our dog could not sit still because of how many noises there were so late at night. Love the lobby. Pretty good beds and bathroom and tv. Super convenient.

STAY AWAY! Having stayed at this property multiple times over the years, and in this room specifically several times, I was astonished at how much the property had fallen apart since I’d last visited. What was once among the nicer properties in Big Bear, is now more like an overpriced, expansive Motel8. Fireplace that doesn’t work. Sink that doesn’t work. Heater that doesn’t work. Tub too filthy to step foot in. Bed that's a brick. Pillows like oversized kitchen sponges. Oh, and not enough towels and blankets. But what really set this place apart on this trip was the nighttime front desk staff. Either too lazy or ineffective to handle drunken hotel partiers causing a ruckus for hours, stretching into the morning, between the shouting, the arguments, and the cheering along to foot races down the hallways, hotel staff sat on their hands and did nothing. Suffice to say everyone – kids included – were woken up repeatedly, making for an awfully pleasant next day. And the best part of all, when I called down to the front desk to ask that something be done, the response I got from the man at the front desk was to dismiss my complaint and hang up on me. To say I’ll never stay here again is an understatement. I’ll vocally tell those around me to make sure they don’t ever make the same mistake.

The room was noisy all around. The lobby wasn't ready for us or anyone staying there. They were out of coffee and hot chocolate, the host was always on a break and only one person taking care of the desk. I went to check out 3 times, and they were taking a break, so I had to wait for them. Horrible customer service. I won't recommend to anyone or ever come back.

Very disappointing stay. No AC — the room was unbearably warm all night, making it impossible to sleep. Extremely limited staff and absolutely no service whatsoever. We tried the restaurant, but the smell was unbearable, so we had to leave. Paying $500 for one night for this experience is completely unacceptable. Not worth it at all.

Pros: Room was spacious and clean. Love that it had a Microwave, Refrigerator and coffee maker! Location was close to town. Parking was plentiful! All basic amenities were provided. Cons: Thin walls, AC was turned off (for the winter) and we were not informed, but once we found out, we opened the window so it was fine.

Heater in room was broken and it was 83-85 degrees and there was no a/c, pool wasnt working, i will thing 1000 times before reserving a room there, in the bathroom handle were hair like they clean the bathrooms floor and the handle with the same rag, i was really suprised because i always reserve this hotel in different areas in california and this is the 1st one like that, my wife even got a bloody nose because pf how hot it was

There’s no AC in the rooms and although it’s cold outside the room was too warm. The temperature was 75 and wouldn’t go lower even when we turned off the heater. After I complained they offered to give us a different room where the AC wasn’t working either but had a sliding door. We didn’t take it because the sun was hitting right where the sliding door was and that room felt warmer. So they offered us fan. The place was clean, staff was polite and friendly. Very nicely decorated for Christmas (lobby) but the whole no AC is really an issue.

Everything was great. Except the restaurant and bar were not open on a Wednesday which is why I chose there vs a cabin. The Internet and Expedia should let that be known. At least tell customers to call and ask. Jacuzzi was fabulous
