The kitchen was clean and equipped. On the other hand the bed was terrible and we barely slept both nights. The twin mattress had springs, it was so uncomfortable to sleep on, and made so much noise every time we moved, we could barely.

Not sure where to start…room was not clean, even though I had called a few days before and shared that we were traveling with a baby. We cleaned the cabin ourselves. Floors were gross and when we asked for a broom and mop, the mop was black with dirt/mud. We had to buy our own cleaning supplies. Ant problem, even in the rooms. You need to put everything away each night. Entire cabin was pretty worn down and old. Only basic cable so no movies or option to connect to your own subscriptions. Worn down linens so we were glad we brought our own blankets. Our shower ran out of hot water quickly and we were told to wait a while between showers. Shower head was horrible. It sprayed water everywhere and you need to dry up floors after each shower. No washer/dryer which is tough for those that go snowboarding/skiing- you always end up wet. Only star is for location. It’s close to everything but Big Bear is not really walkable. The Main Street is busy and without sidewalks. The manager might have sensed our dissatisfaction and gave us a few drinks and offered a free dinner.

Yes the Hot Tub was hot enought, nd when I had some troubles with the controls and the temperature fell too low, the staff went out of their way to drain the cold water and replace it with hot water, so I could utilize it, that day at the correct temperature. Really made my stay excellent!

The guy that checked us in was very friendly and inviting. The room was clean and we had no issues with anything. Very good access to most places of interest.
