It was easy to get to, the room was ok. Staff very friendly! The balcony to get to rooms had cigarette butts laying around, and there were lots of marks on our room walls. One of our curtains was on upside down. The bathroom looked recently renovated and was very clean. The towels and sheets were clean, but you could tell they were showing signs of age and/or wear. Beautiful views out the back windows, the front areas are a little unkept. May be because we were there in the off-season?

Easy, efficient check in. When we entered our room, one pillow was missing a pillow case and just lying on the foot of the bed, and not in place. It was kind of off putting, but everything else appeared to be correct with the room. It looks like someone was making up the room and was interrupted during the process and forgot to finish the room. Everything else looked…and was fine. Not a huge inconvenience, but certainly something to pay more attention to.

Room was freshly redone. Was not tired or worn looking. Bathroom was spotless. Easy to get in and out of property. Near the highway so easy access to highway, gas stations, eating establishments.

Perfectly average motel

We were looking for an affordable accommodation for a night on the road and the Scenic motel was the best option price-wise. The room was exactly what we expected from this type of establishment, ie a bed you wake up sore from and a medium overall cleanliness. However the location was convenient, it was easy to check-in and out and we got a hot shower so not too bad really!

We went for Indian food at a little place called India King. It was about 15 minutes away. It was fantastic! There was a microwave, fridge and kettle but unfortunately no coffee available in the room or motel.

Close to town, room had enough beds for all of us (5), was clean, and had an area for them to play outside. Also, we were able to cook outside which worked out awesome. Owners were very nice as well.
