They rent rooms to people with a dozen or more kids that run down the hallways. They play on the gym equipment. This hotel amenities is a baby sitter for single mothers with too many kids. The receptionist just chills and says whatever is clever. This is little Detroit hotel. It’s my fault for renting a room at the last minute. Last time I stay in Benton Harbor. I feel bad for the out of town contractors staying here.

My room the carpet was dirty. The bathroom floor was sticky. The manager was very short when we had an issue at check-in. The poor girl checking us in was new and needed help. A a bright note i had been working via phone prior with a very kind ans knowlegable lady named Aleigha. Im very thankful for her help. And, Linda in the breakfast room she was a bright spot in the day. Kind, helpful.

This hotel was by far my worst hotel experience ever! My tub was dirty and I had to clean it myself! The room had a weird smell I just felt so uncomfortable the room just felt dirty the shower curtain was gross! Hair all over the place just nastyI told front desk about changing rooms they kept giving me the run around to be honest they didn’t care about my concerns I would never stay there again!

The room was gross. there were stains on the comforter and on the pillows if you look behind the TV, there were balls of dust and anything that had been thrown behind there by previous guests. under the desk area was leftover food from what looked like pizza toppings, and cigarette burns in the carpet. Clearly this room had not been cleaned thoroughly and was not taken care of. The lampshades were also crooked, and the phone was off the hook when we walked in. The mattress was extremely hard and felt like a piece of plywood. I did not feel comfortable, sleeping here and could not fall asleep. because of this, when I did fall asleep, I ended up sleeping until 1:30pm. I could not in good faith stay another night in this room so I walked down to the desk to check out. I was told I would not receive a refund for the second night that I would not be staying there. I then left and checked into the Hilton around the corner where I was much happier. Do not stay here the photos online do not represent the actual room or hotel.

I ordered a double bed, acccesible room. The room came with two full size beds, no accessibility. I expected Queen beds. There is also no couch in the rooms, although pictured. The property appears to have poor maintenance, the bathroom trimming and ceiling are falling apart. There is rust throughout property. The elevator is rickety, rooms are small.

Hotel in Poor Condition

while the service was excellent the condition of the hotel was not. Carpets were extremely dirty throughout the hotel, rooms, hallways and stairs. The floor in our bathroom was buckleing due to water damage. The door in the bathroom was damaged and very difficult to close all the way let alone open. The show head was dirty and needs replacing. Ceiling in the pool is peeling. We will not be staying at your location again.

The hotel itself was clean, our beds, and the bathroom were clean. The carpet was absolutely disgusting. I did not feel comfortable walking on it without my sandals. It was the worst carpet I have ever seen in a hotel which was disappointing for a Country Inn and Suites.

Plaster falling off walls, bathroom ceiling significant water damage, no hot water, filthy old rug in room, fire alarm did not go off in room only in hallway, no blanket on bed, no heat, 1 chair, bathroom no air filter…stay away!

1960 filthy rug, had socks on and they were filthy in an hour or less

The staff at this location is TOP notch! Domanique was working the front desk and having a hell of a time dealing with an unruly patron. She had to call the police twice on a very unruly woman staying with her family! Domanique was level-headed, polite, listened well and gave as many chances as she could to the unruly woman. We were very impressed with her professional demeanor. Also, Victoria was called back in to help clean rooms and she did so without hesitation. She worked a double shift that day and did so with a smile. Both women were friendly and helpful and got us our room as soon as they could. We really appreciated them as we really needed to get some sleep before a big travel day. They really should be considered for raises and/or promotions. They are absolutely fabulous and are huge assets to your company. Also, the room was lovely, clean and smelled great when we got inside. I cannot commend your staff enough, those 2 women, Domanique and Victoria. They will definitely stick with us for a while. They are wonderful. :)
