The Hideaway at Belton Lake is truly a private place for quiet relaxation. For a $50.00 fee, we are small pet friendly too!

Charming location with all the practical needs for a weekend get away! Beds were very comfortable. While the views of the lake were amazing, the serene back yard was the most pleasant surprise.

Great views from living room, and all bedrooms. No walking path to lake but short drive to a park where you could be at the lake. Nice fish koi pond and relaxing, secluded back patio. Was equipped with pots, pans, dishes and an added bonus was laundry pods, dryer sheets, dishwashing soap and dishwasher pods supplied by host. Everything was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay!

This is probably one of the best places I’ve stayed, the views from every room are incredible! The host is super sweet, when we arrived there was a welcome basket complete with a card. The property has everything you could want or need and there’s a bonus oasis out back! Check in and check out was super smooth and easy, all the rooms are beautifully decorated and it’s super cozy! Will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing house on Lake Belton

We stayed at the Hideaway for a family reunion in the area, and really enjoyed this beautiful house. It is situated on the side of a hill on a quiet cul-de-sac, with incredible views of Lake Belton from every room. It was artfully decorated, with a great retro vibe. Everything was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were super comfortable, and management had even left a bottle of wine and some chocolates for us! Five star experience! Thank you!

Great Lake views

Our family stayed over the July 4th weekend. We have other family in the area, so this home is very convenient for us. The design of the house is ideal for viewing the lake out of every room! The decor is fun and retro. Loved the record player and games! Great communication from the hosts. We will rent every summer!!

Great stay

Nice older home , well maintained. Comfortable beds, great ac. Great communication and ease of check in/ out. Location in Belton great. There are stairs up to property door and bedrooms upstairs also- so not for persons not able to ambulate. Plenty of dishware available. View of lake Belton from upstairs bedrooms nice. Plenty of hot water for bathing. We enjoyed the upper deck area. Garden was a bit overgrown !Over all great stay!

We had a nice stay at this property. Home was well furnished, and was very unique 3 story home with great views. Definitely would stay here again. Only negative was the backyard is not fully fenced for pets.

Relaxing

We enjoyed the layout and roominess of the house as well as the proximity of the lake and parks. Our purpose was a get away to decompress and this place filled the need. Only 3 of us, but plenty of room for more. The views of the lakes and trees was beautiful. Everything we needed for our stay was here. All you need to bring is yourself and food.

Hideaway Happy

We celebrated Christmas at the Hideaway and it was wonderful. The Hideaway had lots of spaces for gathering and hanging out. We really enjoyed fires in the fireplace, an amazing view of Belton Lake, lots of space for cooking and dining, and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. It was a peaceful place to just enjoy time together. Thank you to our great host who kept us stocked with firewood!

Oh the views!

Incredible property! Stayed here for Thanksgiving of 2022 with our family of 6. The owners were absolutely wonderful and hospitable. They even brought an extra portable oven by because they knew we were cooking a Thanksgiving feast. Communication with them was also very prompt. Beds were all super comfortable and the views out of that living room cannot be beat. The decor was really neat as it had a 1970s retro flair. I would absolutely recommend this place looking for a great comfortable place to stay.

Super cool home!

Fantastic, relaxing weekend get-a-way enjoyed in this one of a kind home. We hiked near the lake, played cards on the back deck and appreciated the beautiful lake views from the home’s interior and front deck. The hosts were responsive and helpful!

Relaxing Stay with Beautiful Views

We had a very relaxing time here which was much needed. Every window had a beautiful view of the lake. We had sunsets every night despite the clouds. And we had a beautiful sunrise the last morning we were there. Property was very clean. Neighborhood was quiet and remote but close enough to downtown Belton and Temple for some great food. We also stopped by the local brewery for some great craft beer! Communication from the hosts were very prompt. Could not have asked for a better stay!
