Best time to take a vacation to Belize

The tropical climate of Belize means that weather is changeable with wet and dry seasons as well as significant differences from north to south. Proximity to the coastal areas plays a part too with temperatures further inland. The best time to visit would be between February and April, but humidity levels particularly away from the sea can be quite high. Catch the harbor regatta every March in Belize City to celebrate Baron Bliss, one of the country's greatest benefactors. The Costa Maya Festival is a five-day celebration each August with pageants, parades, and an abundance of dancing, singing, and general over-indulgence.
