Hotel set in beautiful grounds in a quiet area. Staff were some of the most helpful we have ever encountered. Room did not have air-conditioning but a fan was supplied on request. Breakfast was self service and excellent. Evening meal was also very good.

Very dated but convenient location with good parking which is why we used it. Breakfast was very poor for the cost: temperature of hot food was not great. The fish n chips was more overcooked batter than fish and the Ribeye medium was overcooked. They run a Fawlty Towers event, felt like that was less of an event and more the reality of how that hotel is. We would use again due to location and even with no cooling in the room not even a fan supplied it was bearable but would not waste hard earned on any food offerings. Drinks are as expected high priced but at least there is a bar, watch out if theres a wedding as they move certain spirits for the wedding party bar which then you cant have.
