Nestled in the boreal forest on the shore of Lake Superior, this home offers gorgeous lake views and spacious accommodations just a few miles from charming downtown Bayfield! Located in Brickyard Creek, an environmental residential community dedicated to stewardship, preservation and restoration along the creek and greater Lake Superior watershed.

Very clean, nicely decorated cabin with great views looking out over Lake Superior to Basswood Island. Well appointed with everything needed to cook and be cozy. Would definitely stay again!

What a beautiful property on Lake Superior! We loved spending time in the screened-in porch looking at all the beauty. The home had everything we needed, and was excellently appointed. The owners answered all our questions and gave helpful recommendations. We had a wonderful week in the Bayfield area: kayaking the sea caves with Lost Creek Adventures, hiking the Frog Bay Trail & seeing waterfalls at Amnicon Falls State Park, exploring the cute towns of Bayfield & Cornucopia, enjoyed the Grand Tour with Apostle Island Cruises, took the ferry to Madeline Island and enjoyed being at this beautiful house. We can't wait to come back!! Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us.

5th Stay at this Property

Over the past 15 years, we've booked this property for long weekends in either the summer, fall or winter. Owners have come and gone - but the memories that we have of this wonderful cabin will remain with us forever.Beautiful, secluded location. Well-appointed amenities. Super-comfortable beds and comforters.This is one of our favorite get aways. Great place!

Mini Bayfield vacay

We went to the Bayfield area for the Apple Fest the first weekend in October. There were six of us; three sisters and their three sisters-in-law. We didn’t want a hotel so I checked on VRBOs in the area. I found Brickyard Lakeside Retreat and it was perfect. There was plenty of beds for us and a large screened in porch facing Lake Superior. It was clean and neat. We had a wonderful time and I recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable place to stay close to Bayfield and Madeline Island. Thanks Ashley! Linda

We loved this cabin! There was wonderful space and the screened in porch was great for evening sitting out and listening to the water, bug free!! This was a great location… close to town but secluded enough to be a nice private retreat! Would highly recommend :)
