Best location! Near 2 shopping malls and a big food court opp. I travel to Batam twice or more a year, this hotel is my everytime choice. I had been booking the deluxe room but this time i booked a larger room De Luxe but was disappointed tho i paid extra for it. There is no table to have your meal if u pack food to eat in your room. Only table available is the dressing table. When we asked the staff for a table, they gave us a 'kind' of stare and suggested us to eat at the lobby instead. In the end, we have to move a table from the smoking room and return after our meal everyday. Do NOT book the De Luxe room. Not comfy, inconvenient n too bright - the room light up after 6am!

This is my 2nd stay with Aston Inn Gideon Batam over the past 2 months. It's not an overstatement to say that they are the best hotel in the Penuin area. Surrounded by massage centers within 200m, most crowned with an average rating of 4.9 stars on Google Reviews, if you're prepared to be blown away by massage paradise, this is the place to be. The restaurant within the hotel only serves breakfast, but you will be spoilt for choices with great tasting local food, all within walking distance at any time of the day. The sound insulation of the hotel room was exceptional as we were not able to hear the slightest noise at all from outside the windows, the corridors and the neighboring rooms. View was not a priority for us at all, the hotel was neither situated by the sea nor was it a tall building. So, please do not expect any breathtaking views, we're just thankful that it let's in enough sunlight. TL;DR? This hotel is best for location, good service, location, great comfort, convenience, excellent value and most importantly, location.

The stay was good. 18 of us all the hotel for the location. We stayed more than once. However, during this stay we noticed that the shower watervpressure and water heater do not seem to be doing well. Needs to resolve this to bring us back.

Book a family room for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The Family room is spacious and clean. Staff are courteous and helpful. Hotel location is very good with many eateries, massage parlors, 2 big shopping malls (1 old & 1 new), plenty retail shops and even a wet market all within short walking distance. Overall good value for money and highly recommended.

Rooms and check in all good. However, breakfast was very slow. It should start at 6 am but a number of items were not ready. The egg station was slow and also didn’t start until way past 6 am. They were much better previously but things have deteriorated. Many of us go out for golfing and we need the early start
