This hotel is very historical and very much for me. My great grandfather managed it as part of the original intercontinental group back in the 50’s. So I was excited to go and see it. The hotel is beautiful and the pool outstanding. The staff including front desk and cleaning crew were not very responsive or helpful. The overall condition of the hotel was bad. The airconditioning in our room was cold but also super humid. The system was not working right. The food at the poolside was not good we tried it once. The breakfast was very good and tasty we ate it every day. Overall my experience was good but not memorable.

Me gustó mucho la atención en el momento del desayuno excelente. En el bar el personal Daniel excelente atención para los huésped. Deben mejorar en las habitaciones particularmente en el baño demora en bajar la tina. Y se siente un poco de calor a mi gusto.

This was a beautiful hotel that needs some work on the rooms. Our room was spacious but it wreaked of mildew. I had to wash all our clothes when we got home. There were chips on the bathroom door jam. The water pressure in the shower was very low, and in a handicapped bathroom there should be a handheld shower head. The absolute most wonderful part was the staff, highly professional, helpful, attentive, even going so far as to try to speak English to me! lol They were very helpful to me and my elderly father in law up and down ramps. Very kind people. We ate at the buffet for breakfast and the restaurant most meals and the food was excellent. The service was very good. We would stay there again but maybe in a different room.

Property is beautiful, pool is great but the staff is horrible. We asked for more towels, clean our rooms etc. nothing happened. Took 45 min to ck in. I have an emotional support prescription they charged me to have my dog then gave me the money back when I asked for the manager to ck the prescription again. Service is bad and slow.

This is an old hotel but well maintained. Not enough electrical outlets in the roommates if you have a lot of devices to keep running. The restaurant is nothing to brag about and a bit expensive, not great value. The pool is great for swimming laps but not so good for small children as it’s pretty deep with most a ‘meter or more. The staff treated us well and no complaints. Breakfast is pretty decent with a few options. Many restaurants are within walking distance. I tried the Capital and Pescaye. The first is mostly burgers with some other options and the second is a fish house with some pretty good fish. In all I would not hesitate to stay here again.
