The staff was outstandingly attentive. Always opened the doors when entering or exiting the hotel. From check in to check out, the staffed handle our luggage. The pool was great, and the breakfast was delicious.

The front desk staff was not very friendly while the rest of the hotel staff is really welcoming. The room air conditioning doesn’t work well. The small shaving mirror was broken. There are very few room amenities (no nose tissue, no shampoo). Very disappointing.

Excellent process during check in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast bar is perfect to start your morning, there after you can enjoy 1 of the 2 pools. Pools are well maintained. You can enjoy dinner onsite at pulpo Paul. Next time in town I now have a place of choice.

Staff MUY AMABLE, sin embargo el proceso de checking y checkout es bastante lento por la cantidad de papeleo que deben hacer, pero el staff es muy paciente y gentil. Habitacion limpia, mobiliario algo antiguo, pero bien mantenido, WC extremadamente incomodo, la tapa que lleva piuesta no es la del modelo, por lo que su uso es complicado y desagradable. Desayuno nos decepciono, su calidad no era la esperada, en cuanto a lo frescura de sus ingredientes..., piscina correcta, una de ellas cerrada por mantenimiento..., el Bar no lo use, por lo que no puedo opinar. En las cercanias a pie, hay muy buenos restaurantes, costosos pero de una calidad impecables....Parking comodo, la zona se siente segura.

I’ve have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. It used to be very good. 7 years after my last stay I am disappointed with the lack of maintenance in the rooms. I got a junior suite, 2 bathrooms and 2 rooms. There was a sewer-like smell in the rooms and several plumbing issues. The sink was clogged, the toilets did not flush properly, and there was visible mold or humidity on the walls. On the first night, there was a strong plumbing or sewer odor, to the point that I had to open the bathroom windows to ventilate the space. Overall, I found the rooms to be quite neglected in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. I understand that the hotel is old and that renovations have been made over time; however, the most important aspects are room and bathroom cleanliness, and unfortunately, this fell short during my stay.

We leave with a very negative impression of the hotel. People would say, "it's one of the best hotels in Barranquilla" but the truth is, that it's one of the worst we've ever stayed at. The staff were not friendly. You could tell they were not enjoying their job and if you work in hospitality, you should at least like people and enjoy the environment you are in. The staff never smiled, when you asked a question they looked at you with impatience. The key to our room never worked, not once, throughout our stay, and whenever I complained, the front desk was not very nice. The hotel does not have amenities, no spa, no real restaurant, and the restaurant on the top floor, only opens twice a week. Overall disappointing experience and stay.
