"This hotel has the most attentive and welcoming staff. The room was really clean and fairly large. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of towels and tp. The bar was outstanding for selection and Fernando is an amazing mixologist. I gave five stars for the above mentioned. There was no pool, but a pickleball court and corn hole. There weren’t convenient places to walk to for me so we drove everywhere. There was no closet or bureau in the room. I spoke to a few people who had stayed at this hotel when visiting the area, and they stated they would never stay elsewhere. My friend and I had a great stay here."

"The whole place was clean, the hvac in our room worked great, breakfast was good and fresh. There were no obscure smells or weird stains on anything that I could see. When visiting Bardstown again, I’ll be staying here."

"This property was very disappointing and not as advertised. The photos online are misleading and do not reflect the condition of the standard rooms. While the courtyard area is nice and looks like the pictures, that seems limited to the suites. The regular rooms are outdated, worn down, and feel very low budget. Our room had a strong mildew/mold smell. The bathroom did not feel clean—the shower curtain was plastic and visibly dirty with built-up soap scum. The sink drained very slowly, which added to the frustration. There was only one thin curtain that barely covered the window, offering little privacy. There also appeared to be an issue a couple of rooms down, as staff were going in and out for two days and left the door propped open the entire time. The “poolside bar” is actually part of the office/lobby area and serves pre-made bottled cocktails, not what is shown in the photos. The cocktails pictured appear to come from a neighboring restaurant, which is not part of the motel. That restaurant was rarely open, and the hours listed on the motel’s website did not match reality. The staff was friendly, but overall this felt like a low-budget motel being marketed and priced like a much nicer property. Not worth the cost, and I would not stay here again. Do not stay here, unless prices are extremely low matching the quality."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Jailer's Inn. The staff were amazing, the location couldn't be better and our accommodations were wonderful. I definitely would recommend staying at this fabulous Bed and Breakfast."
