I was at the bar and hadn't checked in but apparently the indian man who lives Im guessing on premise wanted to go to bed and was tired of waiting on what looked like I was his only check in. Great little hotel we stayed one night at while passing through Bourbon Country. As advertised, it is a no frills hotel and some of the furnishings were dated, but the room was ample, VERY clean and well located close to Bardstown. We would definitely stay here again.
