The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and updated with great views of the Mediterranean Sea. The lounge and bar area had a nice relaxed atmosphere with lots of natural light. The only downside is I would not recommend eating breakfast in the hotel as it was very expensive. Lots of local options available just outside the hotel. All in all a great hotel that I will stay at again when I return to Barcelona!

This was the second time my husband & I visited the beautiful city of Barcelona, but our first time staying at the W Hotel. The experience was so amazing that we can’t imagine staying anywhere else now. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was fantastic and the restaurants were amazing! Highly recommend staying at the W Hotel if you want the best experience Barcelona has to offer. The views of the beach and city will blow you away!

check in was easy and we were offered fresh cool water which was a nice touch... room was fabulous with a view of the marina .. the room was recently renovated and was spotlessly clean ... air conditioner was virtually silent and kept the temperature refreshingly cool....longe bar was lovely with a modern music background without being overpowering... fire restaurant was gorgeous with charcoal cooked food... room was soundproof so a lovely nights rest and then up for what my wife called the best breakfast we have had anywhere in the salt restaurant ,, great place a heavily recommend

We were nearing the end of a two week vacation and were hoping for a quiet remote hotel by the water as shown in the pics online. Instead we found a massive Marriott property with bright lights/colors and activity/noise. Not what we wanted. Yes removed from the bustling neighborhood but on water front with an amusement park type structure, an air base nearby etc. Our room was amazing with great view and new but would not return

Be sure to continually check your booking as the hotel is incurring renovations, which could cancel your stay. They will prioritize their corporate customers rather than leisure travelers. We were sent communication that our booking was canceled when we were flying to Barcelona. We didn’t know about our cancellation until we checked-in and we were forced to take alternate plans, way further north with no access to the beach.
