This was a nice place to stay, especially if you just need a bed to crash. The rooms are small, but they serve the purpose. Staff is friendly and the location is ideal for those who want to walk around Barcelona...

Some staff were great, others were not terribly friendly. We enjoyed our stay here. The private room was great for our kids. Laundry facilities were a bonus. Luggage storage before check in was free. After check out they made us use the lockers which were VERY expensive. We needed two lockers to find our families baggage costing us $42 euro for 12 hours. Comparatively, a 24hr storage in Paris for two lockers was $24 euro.

It’s relatively cheap for Barcelona, but they offer nothing. If you want a towel you have to rent it. There was no soap in the bathrooms, which weren’t that clean. And they wouldn’t keep my suitcase for 2 hours so I could walk around town. Instead they had lockers you can rent for €2.50/hour. Overall just a bad experience

It seemed that very little maintenance work was maintained. 507 had no drapes for privacy. Some drapes where holey and torn. More upkeep could be done in general with baseboards walls etc. To be honest. I stay in hostels 90% of the time I travel out of the U.S., and this one was the worst. It just did not look and feel clean.

Room inconvenient

Room as described. Good location. Toilet is inside room for 4 people but once you open it's door, the lights from toilet enter the room as there is only glass separating both locations. Terrible noise and light during all night from toilet users. Someone stole my charger while sleeping and hostel did nothing about it. So poor security.
