The staff was great, breakfast was top notch, and I liked my room, but a lot of straight people were staying there; too many women hanging out at the pool. I wanted to be at a gay property on my vacation. Straight people have endless options for hotels in Barcelona, so I don't know why they feel they gave to stay at a gay property.) One issue: the air conditioning in my room was causing a leak from the ceiling for a couple of nights, but staff eventually fixed it.

Xavier was an excellent charming and helpful front desk clerk! Blonde manager was charming! Most of the front desk staff were lovely and helpful as we do not speak Spanish! Thank you for a most wonderful and memorable experience! Barcelona was very enjoyable!

Stay in room 10, which is the standard ground floor. Has basic amenities but still nice with mirrors and see through glass surrounding the bathroom area for. Shower drain was a bit slow to drain (hopefully that can be easily fixed). Pool and gym are conveniently located on the roof.

Great staff, and a trendy smart hotel. Unfortunately my room was on the ground floor and I could smell drains, but it maybe was just a flash in the pan . Pool smaller than expected and never saw anyone on the roof top bar . The staff would make me go again

Great hotel, friendly and comfortable

A lovely comfortable stay, it was my birthday so they kindly upgraded our room, wrote a cute message on the mirror, and we ordered a bottle of carva to celebrate. The room was comfortable with a very large bed, three roof space was nice with comfortable sun loungers, great location and overall we left wanting to visit more from the chain

Overall, it’s a nice hotel — great staff and an amazing location. But the worst part? Absolutely no privacy in the shower or restroom. The doors are see-through glass, and even the vanity mirror is transparent from the bed 😅 Who thought that was a good idea?! Super awkward and honestly just a terrible design choice.

I always stay here when I am visiting Barcelona alone. The rooms are well appointed but the open concept shower and loo is not ideal if you are sharing the room. I like my privacy. I know they were supposed to create a sense of spaciousness with a modern aesthetics but i don’t find it appropriate for two people sharing. Reason why I only stay here when travelling alone. Great area and the rooftop pool is charming and quiet most of the time. Breakfast is really bad as far as I am concerned. It could be of a much better quality. I was v disappointed and won’t try it again. Plenty of local cafes and patisseries around for a deliciously fresh breakfast. The team are friendly and always smiling. I will return for sure but alone !!

Barcelona Revisited

Decent area and close to a lot of things. Metro was at the end of the block with a bus line near, so it made traveling easy. Things that were not so great is the pool area. Could use some updating as well as some shady spots when the sun is at its peak. There’s no reprieve from it during the day. Cute space and has potential, but that’s a bit drawback. Staff on the first stay were very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Building is in a convenient location and is well kept. Stayed 2 nights after my cruise. 15 minutes by taxi from the port area, and about 25 minutes by taxi to the airport. Single bed was very narrow and was neither comfortable or uncomfortable (for me). Room had a nice single-use instant coffee/tea maker which was nice. Shower was great, but no bar soap or washcloths. Rooftop pool and deck area was very nice, but needs more shade and seating options. The sun was almost unbearable up there. Bar was extremely limited on drinks and closed early (I think it was 7pm). Seating was so limited that people would turn around and immediately leave. Very eclectic group of guests from all around the world which I enjoyed. I would absolutely stay there again.

Really enjoyed staying in this little hotel. I was in town for a conference and this location was very close to it and I had a great rate as well, on top of which I was given an upgrade. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooftop pool is a nice place to hang out during free time. My room was beautiful, modern, and spotless. Would definitely stay again. I did get over to the larger Axel hotel one night to go to their rooftop bar. I found it to be lovely but rather noisy. Axel TWO was smaller, quieter, and more relaxing. Nice experience!
