A few nights in Barcelona

This was an ideal alternative to booking a twin room. We had separate rooms and a kitchen etc. Location was a little outside the centre but with good transport links and everything was walkable as well. Staff were really helpful the whole time we were there. Would recommend staying here to anyone.

A pleasant stay in Barcelona

The hotel is in a perfect location - a very safe neighbourhood with metro within 5 minutes. The restaurant is a very good standard and we ate there twice. The reception staff are very helpful and the entrance lounge is nicely decorated. The rooms, whilst clean are sadly dated and not as well finished as the photos might portray. I think you’re paying more for the area than the hotel quality so bear that in mind.

Isabella’s House is absolutely great and would highly recommend. We are a family of four and stayed in a two bedroom apartment for two nights and it was spacious, clean and well equipped. A really lovely place to stay. There is also a restaurant downstairs (did not try it but looked nice). The staff were helpful nf the check in process was very easy. The location is slightly out of the way in terms of tourist spots, but it is only a couple of blocks from the metro that takes you straight into the Placa De Catalunya within just a few minutes.

Was ok, wasn’t massively impressed with the apartment in comparison to what in on offer nearby for the same rate. Was slightly disappointed. Access to public transport was good. Found a lovely local tapas bar serving traditional tapas, Neutral Ganduxer which was a short walk.

This was a cute spacious 2 bedroom above Isabella Restaurant. The host was friendly and helpful. The lift/elevator was tiny but good to have. The place is done up as vintage but I guess they just don't take care of it. The Pros: elevator, nice staff at hotel & restaurant, spacious, nice shower/amenities, comfy beds, double pane windows for noise, nice calm neighborhood. The Cons: the apartment needs a touch up, I get that it's vintage but there are scuff marks on every wall, chipped paint, broken pieces of wall, etc. The bedroom with the 2 twin beds have these reading lamps that float just above your head, really low, so my brother and I hit them with our head getting up a few times and we aren't tall. The shower is nice but only has a short glass wall as coverage so water gets everywhere on the floor behind it. Not their fault obviously but the clientele at the restaurant was snobby.

Charming with potential

The hosts were very nice. The apartment looked great. The property has serious potential. However, the AC in the common area worked but leaked water all over the place and there were cockroaches scurrying around the kitchen. Also, one of the employees knocked on the door and gave us know time to answer before juat walking into the apartment. No idea why. I wouls try it again.

the property is a very old building that has been repainted - the walls are thin between rooms, the lighting is terrible, the bathroom is a tub, sink, tiles and toilet circa 1980 with new taps installed. . . and the wifi is borderline nonexistent.

It was in a nice and quiet neighborhood, there is subway taking you to the downtown.however during my stay , there was a water leakage when in the shower as it has only half door to the shower room, and I only got 2 towels for my first night while I indicated we are a family of 3, then I used 1 towel to dry the water spread on the ground, which left us only 1 towel for our family… not excellent experience for my day 1, but next day , stuff gave us a lot of towels instead . Also there is a Italian restaurant literally just right next to the hotel (I believe both are owned by the same owner ) so there was a little bit noise (people chatting and drinking) even after 2am … And the room lights are so dark…. Don’t know why they wanted to style like this way … I would gave a OK comment
