Unacceptable and unsettling for a four star hotel: We requested accommodations in advance, but none were available. The AC wasn’t working, and the only room offered wouldn’t be ready until the next day around 1 p.m. On our final day, we also found a cockroach in the room, which was unacceptable. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance did not reflect a four-star standard - and no compensation was granted either.

Room was super hot and uncomfortable.There is major construction going on in hotel which we did not find out about until night before arrival. There was bleach splatter on the walls which looked like they tried to clean up something big, and water damage on the wood casing along the floor. The floor was super creaky like there had been water damage . The breakfast and rooftop were great. Great option to keep your bags secured when we arrived early but couldn’t check in yet. Overall just ok. Overpriced for the room. Breakfast was 25e per person.

The hotel was very accessible from Las Ramblas and La Boqueria. However, there was just too much construction going on in Las Ramblas. The taxi had a difficult time getting to the hotel.

Friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a disappointment. Great selection but several items covered with fruit flies. It wasn’t worth the €50, for that reason.

Beautiful historic property, under renovation. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The surrounding area, La Rambla, is a touristic area known for many crime and pickpockets. One has to be careful . Nothing happened to us!

The property is under construction however it is very beautiful and more so when the renovations are complete . Easy and close access to metro and walking distance to the pier.
