Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Location is AMAZING. We loved being in the gothic quarter, there is so much great restaurants and sights nearby. You are a bit far from Gaudí sites (Park Güell, La Sagrada Familia) but if you plan it all for one day and take a cab it’s worth it! The breakfast buffet was EXCELLENT also!! I didn’t book a room with breakfast included because I thought we’d want to choose around but for €16 you can’t beat it. Bubbles, coffee, English breakfast, pastries, cheese and meat, honestly it was amazing. Service was also great, very friendly front desk, always there to help with a question or rec, truly excellent service in the breakfast area!

Room was not ready upon arrival, was given option of different room type and allowed to view room prior to deciding. Staff was amazingly helpful, friendly and efficient. Shower was a little iffy and leaked into floor, otherwise very clean and problem free. Shopping area , food and cathedral is within walking distance and staff is happy to assist with taxis.

Lovely Hotel and positioned well for sights, shopping and restaurants.Great staff and services including a good buffet breakfast. There is no restaurant for an evening meal but that's not a problem as there are numerous within a two minute walk. Would we stay there again, definitely.

Great Location, Under Construction

It takes about a 13 minute walk from the Plata Catalunya where the airport aerobus drops you off, but the walk is easy and filled with the beauty of the gothic quarter. The hotel is a great location because there are convenience stores, landmarks, delicious restaurants/tapa bars nearby, as well as a metro station. The downside is the hotel was undergoing some construction during our stay so there was open dry wall and tiles at some spots. The noise might also be a factor if you are a light sleeper and go to bed early as it is on a busy street.

The hotel was lovely. It was close to shops, cafes, the beach, and historic sites. The staff members were helpful and pleasant, accommodating and friendly. The room was large with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. We couldn’t check in early but the front desk personnel stored our luggage. We were very pleased with our stay. Lovely rooms, very clean and excellent bathroom. There was a good choice of food for breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Some late night noise from outside but that’s to be expected staying in a central area. Overall a great location to explore Barcelona from.
