The location is excellent. Walking distance to all major museums in the Gothic Quarter, the historic markets, the Cathedal. Very close to the Eixample, Las Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya. All the staff members were very friendly. The breakfast is a major highlight: excellent selection, fresh and healthy options, some gluten free choices as well. The room is on a small side, but was enough for the two of us. In sum, highly recommended.

Although the staff were polite they were not over friendly. The balcony over looked the main street but no space for table and chairs to be able to sit outside. We had an issue with a cracked sink which we mentioned to the staff as my wife was concerned about possible bacteria problems. They obviously could not replace it and was not offered an alternative room.

The room was excellent and having a balcony was very nice. The breakfast had a good variety. The coffee machines tended to run out toward the end of breakfast. Be sure to use a taxi to take you to the hotel since Uber does not have the required license to drive to the hotel.
