Saltair Inn is fabulous. Our room was beautiful and had a very cozy feel, with a fantastic view. The hosts were great, and breakfast was terrific. It was within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this B&B and will not hesitate to stay there again.

We LOVED this inn. It's a perfect location--right on the Bay, free parking, and a very close walk to restaurants and shopping. Property is a unique Victorian house just about 1/2 mile from center of Bar Harbor. Beautiful view out to sea. Hosts were very friendly and breakfast super, cooked to order. Usual issues with old house-long flight of narrow steps to top floors. Some issues with the hot water supply which were being worked on. Overall a great place for our first stay in town.
