We have stayed here a number of times a this is the first time we have been disappointed in a number of things. One huge one was the restaurant where the buffet is held - infested with flies! So many black and fruit flies all over the food - in January! Another negative was that we were skating and right beside the skating rink along the gingerbread path for kids is a smoking area - so kids were forced to be in and amongst the adults smoking. It ruined the overall mountain fresh experience that we had come to love.

A beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting, decorated for Christmas. Food is captive audience; two pubs, two restaurants, coffee shop, all very expensive. Interesting activities for children, make your own s'mores every evening! The spa is fabulous! It was extremely busy, so service was usually slow. It was quite crowded over Christmas, but still a favorite destination.

room was fine pretty standard better quality room. comfortable bed. no balcony, and view over the entrance of hotel. food in the Cedar restaurant was excellent but food in Forte buffet was pretty average -better to order from menu. In both locations service was excellent
