Very nice hotel in an historic building. Comfy bed, room was well stocked with everything you would need. Located 2 mins from the town centre with a good selection of restaurants. The breakfast was very good, excellent vegan options too. The staff were very friendly, particularly the lady who served us at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very welcoming. Great value for money and would highly recommend.

Our second visit and it’s already become our go to getaway. The rooms are beautiful and clean and stocked with tea coffee hot chocolate etc. lots of storage for clothing. Rooms include fan, hair dryer and ironing board. Bathroom has standard toiletries. The bar area is beautiful too. We haven’t eaten here but the food smelt amazing!!!

The hotel is just ok, it worked for us for a friends weekend away but I doubt we will go back. The staff are very rules focused which makes you feel less of a valued guest and more of an inconvenience. But it worked as a place to stay and ok if you are on a budget.

Really friendly staff. Very clean room - I stayed in the single , perfect for solo travellers. Excellent location for sightseeing Banbury and good access to the train station - a fifteen minutes walk. Tasty breakfast and friendly service. Highly recommended.
