Know before you go

Front desk not on same page. Called before booking and asked for late checkout. Representative said 1.30pm courtesy and offered to add to reservation, hadn't reserved yet, so told to call you. Called and told just to request at check-in. Third reply talked with said $50 add on till 1pm. Day of check out was given an extra hour (12pm). End result 4 different answers from 4 front desk personnel. Room clean spacious, pool dated, but clean, location would not be great if anything was open (many businesses permently closed).

Really not what I was looking for but ultimately fine. We went for a short trip to unwind. The room was huge. The maintenance was poor (leaky windows, awful couch). The big bathroom was borderline unusable because the leaky window made it so cold in there (it was about 10 degrees out). No room service, no movie channels, no access to anything on the TV except 60 channels of cable. TV options were essentially what you'd have had in 1995. It was comfortable enough because we paid for a giant room. The staff is friendly. None of this is their fault. Fundamentally, this place just puts itself out there as something that it isn't. It's a serviceable place to sleep. If you want something nicer than that, you need to go elsewhere.
