Amazing views and amazing hotel. Honestly was one of the best parts of the trip. Jesse was an amazing manager and made the experience so worth visiting again! I’ll be back for the winter!!

Pleasant setting in Balfour

Pleasant stay between Nelson and Kaslo. The hotel offers lake views on the opposite side of the lake but elevated for viewing. Nice balcony areas. Hotel is more rustic and quiet but clean rooms, free continental breakfast. More of a lodge than a resort. Golf course associated with it that has a small but tasty restaurant with more elevated options than expected.

Wonderful Lake Kootenay View

Beautiful view of Lake Kootenay. Loved watching the ferry run back and forth across Lake Kootenay. The Ferry is Free, walk on and ride back for a free one hour Lake Kootenay Cruse.
