Main floor room was very clean, everything worked, and the outside patio was a welcome touch. Staff were responsive and courteous. Staff in the Los Olivia restaurant were exceptional, as was the food.

Llegamos muy temprano por el vuelo y nos dijeron que no podrían hacer nada por darnos la habitación antes pero que a las 3 tendríamos la habitación y por hacer la reservación con expedía nos darían un upgrade. A las 3 nos dijeron que aún no estaban y que hablarían con el supervisor, después de 3:30 nos dijeron que nos darían otra. No era la habitación con cama king que había pedido

You say Valet, I say compadre! Guest greeter, concierge, room attendant, doorman, or a friendly gabber… Whatever roll is played nothing but top notch, guest oriented, service matters PEOPLE at Occidental Nuevo Nayarit. ARMANDO was the go to person during this visit. Not only did they have suggestions on activities/places to go outside of the hotel but they also genuinely inquired about the stay at the hotel as well. Whether coming or going they always had a smile and I look forward to seeing that familiar face and others when I return. Regarding the hotel: the Barcelo line of establishments are always my go too, they never disappoint in cleanliness, customer service (the people are the best), amenities and for the price (oh, my gaw- too good)! PLUS, the locations always have the best beach service and vibes! The room was a 6th floor Royal suite and the view was amazing! The noise level it was a corner room so no complaints- outside hotel activities go til abut 10-11pm Remember it’s vacation for you but a normal day for the hotel so be gracious and enjoy your VACA!!
