The floor in our room was dirty. The rest of the resort was clean. We were thankful slippers were provided. The staff was great! Very friendly and professional. There was no elevator so there were many flights of stairs to climb.

The room was clean, spacious and decorated nicely and the bed was comfortable. Absolutely loved the pool and beach area near our room! The bartenders at the pool were spectacular!!! The food at all the restaurants was good, but we really enjoyed the Italian restaurant. The staff everywhere at the resort were just wonderful!!! The whole resort property was really great!

I had an excellent travel experience booking through Expedia. Everything was smooth and well-organized from start to finish. As a pleasant surprise, we were upgraded to a better room, which made our stay even more comfortable. The kids’ equipment provided was also a huge plus and made traveling with children so much easier and stress-free. Overall, a fantastic experience — I’ll definitely continue booking with Expedia and highly recommend it to others!

Some staff was nice some were not nice specially Ramona I think her name is at the buffet, all we did was ask for one little thing and she start saying no no no we don’t have it although they do and another team member went to go get it for us. Yoo many people for resort size could never get a reservation for dinner or a chair at the pool. Buffet crowded and got repetitive. Front desk and concierge unable to help when our tv, air and shower trickled. Was disappointing. There to celebrate a 60th birthday and could not get reservation for dinner had to eat buffet so instead left resort to go spend money elsewhere.

The good part - People are nice. Overall property is average. Long lines at breakfast. Limited options for vegetarians in the dinner buffet (we had some in our group). Reservations to the restaurants were tough to get. We had lucky reserved a couple of days before getting there. 1. international cuisine restaurant - we had a reservation for 9.45pm. Food was cold when served. No one liked it. 2. Italian restaurant - good food,l except pizzas which were average 3. Mexican restaurant - nice sunset views. Decent food options. Nothing great 4. Pan Asian restaurant - Sushi was awesome. Noodles and fried rice were good too. The major disappointment were the drinks. Heavily watered down. Too much syrup usage everywhere. The same pina colada outside the property was so much nicer. Best part of the resort were their tacos which were made fresh and tasted great. Rooms were ok, but nothing great. Beach is fine, but had rocks at the bottom on a big part so could hurt legs. Events to engage kids in the evening were good. Overall - a decent property, but underwhelming in terms of luxury. Painful to stand in line for breakfast.

The food was great, but the key to this resort is the beach (and bar). Safe for kids and there’s a surfing area too. Wish we had stayed longer!!!!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I have gone to several resorts in Mexico with my family - we love Mexico so much we were married here several years ago. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Truly do have anything good to say about this resort. Starting with check in, we booked a king suite and assigned two double beds. We couldn’t get a new room until the 3rd night of our 6 night stay. The resort has lost its shine and was probably decent 5-10 years ago but is now a run down place. Don’t let the photos fool you. The Xbox room that my son was excited about was in an “exclusive” area that was not indicated when we booked. There were never enough pool or beach chairs so people were crowding in any open space and even had stuff on steps. Meals were pretty mid. Drinks came 20-30 mins after sitting, food was lukewarm and just not good. The sewage smell that hits you as you walk around the resort is disgusting. Not to mention someone probably threw up on the couch outside of the lobby bar because the stench was awful every time you walked into the xtra innings sports bar. Just bad all around. Do not stay here!
