Best dock in Bacalar

The most beautiful views from the dock made this the envy of the region. If you are looking for peaceful time with friendly and helpful staff, this is your pick. Don't come expecting "the ritz", this is remote and few issues with things like hot water, but did not deter from the overall experience.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Hotel Boutique Aurea. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Conchis, the cook, was always very accommodating to our needs. Paloma was very knowledgeable of the area and shared some the history. In general Carolina and Edgar provided great service and leadership. We will definitely go back to this location. Muy bonito pero tuve una mala experiencia. Olvide una maleta en recepcion durante el check out , fui a pasar el resto del dia a bacalar (5 horas) y nadie tuvo la delicadeza de avisarme que la habia olvidado. Al llegar a mi destino me di cuenta pero ya era muy tarde. Nadie tuvo la delicadeza de avisarme.
