High Hopes' will be realized when you stay at this lovely four-bedroom, two-bathroom family retreat in Avon. This oceanfront home is situated in a natural, maritime garden providing you a wondrous outdoor setting with easy access to the beach via the boardwalk and in a great location close to local stores and restaurants. South-facing furnished decks will afford you great views of the ocean and a glimpse of the peaceful sound.

High Hopes offers comfortable and pleasing furnishings and decor inside, with a spacious living/dining room combination with a high ceiling and exposed beams. Colorful decorations and wood-paneled walls offer a warm atmosphere and a variety of restful sleeping options are available in the four bedrooms. Enjoy additional views of the ocean from the eight-person dining table or breakfast bar as you feast on delicious seafood or stretch out on one of the comfortable couches in front of the TV. An additional TV, two VCR players, a DVD player, and a stereo/CD player are ready to provide some relaxing indoor entertainment when you need a break from the beach.

Other great amenities at High Hopes include wireless, high-speed internet access for your laptop, ground-level storage and utility room, convenient, covered parking directly beneath the home, and an outdoor charcoal grill. You will also enjoy access to Club Hatteras Pool and Tennis for some additional recreational fun.

We loved our family, pet friendly get away. We enjoyed the traditional beach house feel and the view of the ocean. The location allowed for daily dog walks, beach walks, and quick access to great restaurants and shops.

Girls Trip/Birthday Weekend

A group of 5 of us (plus my dog) stayed here the end of April for my 30th. It was perfect for us! The layout is nice, the walk to Nothing fancy, but was kept up nicely. Extremely clean, which we all know isn't true of all pet friendly places. When we first arrived there were some power tools left inside from recent repair work, which didn't bother us, but Management was quick to respond and send someone to retrieve them, the gentleman was so kind and apologetic. The decks/porches were phenomenal and we spent the majority of our time there. We cooked some meals there and the kitchen was very well stocked. We made the best memories in this property. We plan on rebooking again soon for another weekend get away! I recommend this place to everyone. The price, location, and property cannot be beat!

HIgh Hopes disappointment

Property is in need of attention. Killed 3 roaches while we were there. Furniture is dirty. Curtains are dirty. Place is "well worn". Will not stay in this location again.
