Check in was a breeze, very nice clean rooms. Staff were very friendly and everything was very nice. There’s a gas station and some fast food options walking distance from the hotel.

It was a mistake booking the Hyatt Hotel. Checked in and went to the room only to realize it was a room with double bed which was not same as king bedroom boked. Went back to reception to inform reception staff that I got a different room than I booked. This was about midnight already in Austin as my flight arrived at about 11:30pm. The reception staff responded that they are all booked and that is the only room she can get me. I responded that at least she should have done me the courtesy of informing me instead of changing rooms on me without communicating it. The receptionist then reached out to give me a business card that I can take the room or leave the property and call her manager. I responded to her that was very rude and an uncomplimentary way to speak to your guests. The next thing is she said we can leave her facility or she will call the cops on us which she actually did as we saw a cop arrive the facility as shuttle driver was taking us back to the airport.

We had arrival after midnight and computer system was down. Staff was nice and we were assigned a nice room. No food available and we didn't bother with breakfast at check out. The convenient 24-hour airport shuttle was a key consideration in booking near airport since we needed to return in AM for car rental. The return to airport was kindly accomodated by an off-duty van driver so we didn't have a wait. Felt safe but didn't walk around property.

Excellent staff but rooms need a few adjustments

The staff was very friendly. The shuttle driver even loaded my suitcase into my car, even though I hadn't used the shuttle service. The reason I gave my stay less than 5 stars is that the AC fan was very loud, clicking off and on all night, and there wasn't a way to keep the fan in the "on" position. Then, sometime around 5:45 on Sunday morning, my TV automatically came on, lighting up the whole room, with checkout instructions. I let the front desk know and she said she would look into it and apologized. The staff was great and the location is perfect for air travel.

Hotel staff proved to be the best part of the trip. They were very friendly and accommodating and when we had a small problem the general manager Hunter stepped up and took care of us. I highly recommend this hotel.

This Hyatt property is clean, relatively quiet considering the airport terminal is 1/2 mile away, and of course convenient to the airport. Nice modern rooms also with all of the expected furnishings.
