Avoid at all cost

Room was filthy, musty & mold smell was awful. A/C unit even smelled when turned on ! Walls dirty all areas . Upholstery on sofa bed disgustingly dirty. Mattresses were lumpy , even had a plywood plank under sofa bed for support.(Motel full occupancy no changing rooms) Checked in Friday for 3night stay. On check in asked to cancel last night due to nor’easter expected with coastal flooding on barrier island that last day. Was denied a refund said it’s my choice to leave . I left anyway a day early and before checkout time ( 930am) in pouring rain due to safety concerns and being stranded on island Ended up NJ issued state of emergency ,mayor issued warning for visitors to evacuate in anticipation of coastal flooding & high winds , streets ended up flooding leaving exit routes impassible. So my choice to leave was completely correct. Manager was curt and rude . Said I booked through a 3rd party company ( you/Hotels.com) and you were going to want your money so she will not refund not even partial . Even said I would pay the cancellation fee but she said was past 7days All together the customer service was poor, room was disgusting and I will not recommend or ever stay there again Avoid even as a last resort option !

Just went down for the night and this was a very convenient place to stay. Close to everything I was interested in and a comfortable enough place to spend the night.

Seemed to be pet-friendly. Room 2 was small, but clean. Shower was tight, and the door didn't stay shut unless you locked it from inside the shower. Overall, for a place to lay my head for a night, it was good. Small, dorm-sized fridge, two-burner "range", so it was nice to have a "full kitchen" if I wanted to cook my own food instead of eating out.

This was a very well done relatively inexpensive Jersey shore motel property and perfect for our one night stay. Nothing fancy. Easy walk to beach and boardwalk.

Parking lot is odd but there is parking! Bed was a trundle bed where I hurt my legs every single time I got in and out. Sorry to say there is no way I could do more than one night with the bed framed like that. Awesome location to the best of Ocean City Boardwalk, that was fantastic!!

Really wish there were pictures of each room so you would know what you’re getting. Our room was functional, but it was very tight for 6 people. Appliances worked, but some looked very rough (rust, etc). Pool had very limited, and unpredictable hours. Location is nice, not too far to beach, and walkable distance to restaurants, stores, and a church. We had a nice trip overall and will probably stay again, but hopefully in a different room.

* The bed was off to the back, with a partition - however there was no light in the bedroom - thank goodness I brought a reading light. * The "cold" bathroom faucet on the right at the sink was "frozen" - not able to use. * The wifi did not work the entire three days * Nearly impossible to get the wall-unit airconditioning to a comfortable level. Had to constantly adjust. ** Staff in office were very, very nice. And in their defense I did not mention the wifi the entire time.

When Expedia's charges got added, the nightly charge for this really old ( though clean) motel went from $ 137 to $ 180. Expedia fees were exorbitant ( $ 43 for one night). Hopefully, you will refund at least $30 to me.

Affordable, clean, nice pool, comfortable bed. All staff are helpful. The shower was tiny, the lighting over the stove and sink didn't work, and there was only one outlet in the bedroom. It needs fresh paint and upgrading.

For the price compared to other hotels I guess you get what you pay for. The problems that I found was the carbon monoxide detector was placed very high on the wall rather than positioned at a lower level on the wall where it should be. Also the shower door was difficult to open. It was stuck on something and you had to push hard to get it to release. Lastly, the shower head had mold on it. That should be clean regularly.
