The non-smoking room smelled like smoke so we asked for another room and the front desk accommodated without an issue. Second room was much better. It is an older beach motel, but the room was very clean and comfortable. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it’s very close to two roller coasters so there’s a noise issue when they’re running. Very close to boardwalk and beach and would stay here again.

I have been going to the Impala for at least one week a year since I was born in 1980. All I can say is that it’s the first and only place I look at and stay when I plan the trip!! The location is phenomenal, the staff is beyond friendly, and it’s absolutely spotless!! If I could change one thing it would be a hot tub by the pool but if that’s my only “complaint.” I’ll take it! Don’t miss out on this place for your stay. You will never be sorry!

Carpeting needs to be updated severely. Room needs to be updated also and get rid of the step from the TV section to the bedroom section. My sister fell because she did not see the step. It was not well marked. A step there is not needed. Bathroom was clean and housekeeping did the best they could with what they had to work with.

Very convenient location. It’s a motel so you likely know what you’re getting into. Fine if you get a great price. Internet wasn’t working, but assume that’s not normal. Hair dryer kept stopping. A little bit of a smell in the room. AC took a while to catch up but eventually got there. You’re staying here for the location and low price.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Close to the boardwalk/beach. You can hear the music from the amusement park right behind the hotel. We were not bothered by it but some families may not like it. The only thing we missed was a coffe maker.
