Just steps from the sand, you can take in the beauty of North Carolina's Crystal Coast. And there are no worries about bringing sand back up to the house - you can rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower before heading inside.

When you step into the Sandfiddler Cottage, you step into a simpler time. Enjoy lovely sunsets on the oceanfront deck or do a little soul-searching while resting under the stars on the porch swing. After a day of exploring, head back to the house for a family feast prepared in the well-equipped kitchen - listen to them all chattering around the two dining tables! After that, relax in the living area and watch a little TV or play games with the family.

The house was clean and comfortable. The property had a wonderful location, however, the deck was in major need of repairs and it was even dangerous to step on some parts. The wifi was unreliable and needed to be reset several times. It was wonderful to be able to have our dogs with us, however this property had no grass at all for them which was shocking since it was a pet friendly property.

Beach House

This house is very spacious and in a great location. Lots of bedrooms to accommodate a large group and a large den and kitchen area for dining. The cleaning service must improve. We were unable to enjoy the deck on the dunes due to safety concerns. Lots of rocking chairs on the back deck to relax, quiet and private. This is a great older house it just needs some TLC. We enjoyed our time and memories were made.

The property was great however we checked in on Saturday and the refrigerator a broke down on Tuesday. We contacted Vacasa and 2 different technicians were sent out to try to fix it. We were told it could not be fixed and he would call and we should have a new unit by Wednesday. Wednesday evening we still had not been contacted so I reached out again and was told they would look into it and did not hear from them the rest of the day. Thursday I called and was told they would check on the status. Thursday evening I actually had to go to the office to make another complaint. I was met with a nice phone call that stated we would not get a refrigerator before Saturday but they could reimburse the ice we had to buy and items we lost, they would also send out ice and coolers on Friday morning. Itemized list was sent to the number provided and Friday no ice/coolers were delivered and no contact was made regarding the reimbursement of ice. I understand that things do break but the communication and follow up for problems in the rental was the worst I have dealt with.

RIGHT ON THE BEACH

House was good. Location was great, sitting right on the beach. Two decks, with one detached and on top of the dunes for incredible views, but both decks are in desperate need of repair. Boards are loose and sticking up, and dozens of nails heads are sticking up causing trip hazards and cut hazards if you walk on them barefooted.

Sand Fiddler

The Sand Fiddler was perfect for our stay. Plenty of beds to go around. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The decks were great and the beach access was outstanding. We will definitely book the Sand Fiddler again.

Long weekend get away.

Lovely home with great views of ocean. Beds are soft, but there are plenty of them to choose from. Well stocked kitchen, great decks and very dog friendly. Would rent again.
