Sit back, relax in the coastal breeze, and take in the beautiful ocean view from the balcony of this second-floor condo at A Place at the Beach. Come and spend your vacation lounging by the pool, flying down the waterslide, and collecting seashells on Atlantic Beach.

A Place at the Beach is a gated, oceanfront complex that sits at the doorstep of Fort Macon State Park. There's a plank boardwalk leading onto the sand, as well as four beach chairs, an umbrella, small coolers, and a beach wagon provided by the owner for your use.

On the grounds of the property, enjoy a large outdoor pool with a waterslide (and refreshments for sale), an indoor pool, tennis and basketball courts, shuffleboard, miniature golf, outdoor bowling, and a grilling area with picnic tables. There are even special events throughout the year, from live music to Easter egg hunts.

Whether you're in town for the Beach Music Festival or Carolina Kite Fest, you'll love coming home to this air-conditioned condo each day. It's an efficiently designed space, offering a well-equipped kitchen, a living and dining area with a cable TV, and glass doors that lead to the shaded balcony overlooking the ocean. It was fine, a little run down with stickers on the walls for decoration. But during the night, the variety of roaches made their presence known. It’s was so infested that Vasaca moved us to a different rental. One of the shower drains was clogged, a toilet was clogged. The other shower was so small, I had to stand on tippy toes to not be blasted in the face by the odd placed shower head. I give this rental two thumbs down.

Great place to stay, tons of amenities. Beautiful view of the ocean and close to the beach. Our only “complaints” were the creakiness of the couch and bed, made it impossible to move at night without waking the other person and the coffee maker didn’t work. Otherwise, great place and would stay again.

Very basic

The queen bed was very uncomfortable & old. Loud sounds when you roll over etc. Itchy cheap sheets. The sofa was gross, we put a king size sheet over it. The kitchen utensils & cups are sketchy. We didn’t dare use anything in the kitchen. This is a very basic condo.

Check in process was a nightmare. Vacasa gave us no information and it ruined our first night. Vacasa also told me they didn't have a pack-n-play here. So I went and bought one for the trip. I lug it upstairs just to find a pack-n-play. Wasted time and money The beds were so uncomfortable. My pregnant wife slept very little. The condo overall was just dirty. I was not happy with it. I would recommend "a place at the beach" but not going through Vacasa. They are very unpleasant and not helpful.

I expected it to be a bit cleaner. Pictures are not accurate need to be updated. The coffee pot was not a keiurg like advertised and we brought the wrong coffee. Different chair in the living space too. Bed was uncomfortable could use updating along with pillows.

Our little getaway.

Had a great time fishing, exploring,eating and relaxing. Only bad thing was the horrible, at best, Wi-Fi. We would look somewhere else because of that!

The condo was cozy and a nice size for me, my daughter and granddaughter. My granddaughter loved the pool with the water slide. We had a nice weekend. Our only complaint is no pizza cutter in the kitchen😊
