Hotel is very well situated with easy access for exploring Athens. Rooftop restaurant has a beautiful view of the Acropolis. Many tour groups use the hotel which makes mornings and afternoons very busy in the lobby, and in the restaurant for breakfast before 8. The decor is dated and very traditional, but the bed was comfortable even if the pillows were thin and should be replaced.

Our room was a good size, clean, with a large comfortable double bed. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were all helpful, polite and friendly. The rooftop restaurant and bar is a delight. This was our 4th stay at the hotel. If you visit in the summer the pool is a real bonus.

The highlight is the rooftop bar and restaurant with its view of the Acropolis and city. The restaurant exudes class, it has indoor and outdoor spaces. The breakfast buffet was 1st class, no espresso tho’, and the one dinner we had was excellent. I enjoyed the salt water pool and the pool area offers shade as well as sun. The lobby, bar and general areas were all very pleasant. Our room was the cheapest and was clean and functional at best; our friends stayed in one of the more expensive but palatial rooms.

Excellent location for seeing major sights of Athens. Common areas of Hotel are in great shape, rooms and hallways need refreshing. Only one outlet in room for your use, hair dryer attached to bathroom wall not near the mirror and very weak, no coffee or kettle in room, shower is a handheld faucet in the tub with no barrier so bathroom gets pretty wet if you try to shower. No wash cloth, but thats pretty common in EU. Breakfast buffet is huge.
