Grand Hyatt Athens truly deserves its five-star rating. The hotel is ideally located near the city center. The front desk staff were professional and welcoming, ensuring a smooth check-in. Our room was modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, fully stocked with high-quality amenities. Room service was fast and efficient, and the restaurant staff were experienced and attentive. The *breakfast buffet* was incredibly rich — beyond words — offering a wide variety of high-quality options. The *restaurant on the rooftop* was simply outstanding, with breathtaking views of the *Acropolis*. The *outdoor pool* was stunning, and the *indoor pool*, sauna, and steam room added a luxurious touch to our stay. What truly elevated our experience was the *wonderful spa*. From the friendly reception to the exceptional massage therapists, every detail was perfect. Special thanks to *George and Areta*, whose magical hands transported my wife and me into another world. The spa was clean, well-equipped, and rivals those found in top resorts. Highly recommended for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Athens.

Beautiful hotel with amazing rooftop pool area.

Beautiful hotel - rooftop pool is amazing and very comfortable. Wish there were hot tubs on the rooftop near the pool; found it odd that there weren't. Drink service was available although they don't speak English well and we had some language barrier issues with ordering. We got room 157 which was only accessible from the downstairs pool area - we had a hard time finding our room as there was no elevator access to that room. Location is not close to the downtown Plaka area so be advised. Taxi ride was long but only 15 Euro.

This hotel is an oasis of luxury. The spa, the pools, the club lounge are beyond amazing. I absolutely would go back. The only downside is a good 25 minute walk to nicer area. Still well worth it and hotel offers free shuttle to city center.

Really big hotel hence lots of guests as well as conventions. Room was clean and straightened up each day. Shower poorly designed water always ended up on the floor no matter what you did. Staff didn't always replace the stuff you used ie: spoons, tea, coffee. Located by a bunch of strip and sex clubs. Loud dance party just behind hotel last night we were there rooms are not sound proof.

Great experience! This was my first time staying at the hotel and I was perfectly happy with it. My room was a nice size, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom/shower was good. Service was excellent. The rooftop restaurant manager had an unpleasant attitude, but I did not allow that to stifle my enjoyment. Aside from her, the other restaurant staff was very good.
