Room is clean and. Bathroom lacks shower door so water gets all over the bathroom floor and fixtures. Beach is able to be seen and heard but not swam in. Pool is pefect for sitting in and soaking

Outdoor living

This was such a great location for us since we wanted to appreciate the weather. The rooms were super clean and the beds were like sleeping on clouds. The bathrooms were very clean. Everything else was outside so we could really enjoy the warmth after flying from single digit temperatures.

Arecibo right on the water!

Open air living with the exception of AC in the bedrooms. Wish I would have paid attention to not having a stove, but otherwise had what we needed. Safe neighborhood with a beautiful ‘boardwalk’ that people walk day/night. Walk to watch surfing competitions. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would reccomend!

How did we get this so wrong!

We arrived at the property, checked it out and immediately decided that we couldn't stay there and found a much larger, cleaner property in a safer area at a much lower price (obviously we lost our payment for this property).The ocean was close and beautiful - but outside the properties next door there were piles of garbage and there was a soiled mattress left out on the pavement opposite. This did not feel like a safe area.We should have noticed that there was no indoor seating but just the bedrooms and bathrooms - but failed to do so. However, the photos were deceptive and showed the outside seating area to be comfortable and clean. This was not the case. Also I would not have felt safe cooking anything with the minimal cooking utensils on the dirty-looking hob. We are fortunate that we are in a position where we could abandon this property and find somewhere far more suitable and safe at short notice.
