The really great part of this property was the management staff. They were very communicative and all of the instructions they gave were precise and very clear. We had no trouble finding the location or accessing the unit once we arrived. Any questions that we had were answered promptly. The location is great and we loved the covered private parking garage. Close to the city center and close to the boardwalk. It was also very easy to navigate to nearby restaurants and bars. We loved the balcony and the sunlight in the unit. Management gave warnings about the wifi potentially having outages because of issues on the island. But there was only one instance of the wifi going out for just a couple of seconds. With that said, what we did not expect is that the Arecibo is hotel is under construction/being renovated (??). Which isn't that big of a deal for the full property itself, but in our unit... it was obvious. The unit was generally clean. There were some aesthetic/structural things that were... odd. Like no covers on the lights, no AC unit in the living room, the AC units in the bedroom were held in the window with cardboard, wires hanging from the ceiling, one of the bed frames was obviously broken/cracked, etc. and we couldn't figure out how to turn on the living room ceiling fan. Overall, the unit was okay. With a few little touches and upgrades, this unit would be perfect for another stay in PR.
