Fun place for a short getaway.

Room was clean. Nice, but a little rough around the edges. Missing a few tiles in the shower and some trim/base board. The heating vent overhead was a direct conduit of sound to our neighbors room. We could hear talk, tv, snoring, etc. The mattress had a distinct sag in the middle and caused us to roll into it. But, the place, overall was well kept, beautiful views, friendly, nice and fun restaurant/ bar, fair priced, etc. We look forward to giving it another try, just a different room.

It’s a great place off the beaten path that’s generally quiet. There is a live band that plays at the tavern next door but it didn’t bother m sleep ( I was in a room near the end closest to the tavern) It’s always my first choice when I stay in Apple Valley.

We stood at the Hill Top tavern Inn wanting to stay low key and away from everyone else wasaa aAaas stayed there for a just a bit over a week while we were there we met the owners who live on the property she has raised her kids and grandkids there. I met there manager Stephanie she’s also the hotel maid she was so kind and helpful to us in accommodating me in getting me anything I needed They have a restaurant and live cover bands over the weekend Also have a gazebo to be married if interested there’s 10 units it’s quit and away from EveryThe view is beautiful

Enjoyed my stay much more this time than the last couple times I don't know if it's cuz the room I was in was in better condition than the other ones or what but it smelled very clean when we walked in it felt very clean my only problem was the people in the room next to us we're banging on the wall all night and I have no idea what they were doing or why but every couple of minutes you would hear a thud it was very annoying but you can't blame the property manager for that they have no control over what people do in their rooms they just need to be more considerate realizing there is somebody on the other side of that wall

We stayed for two nights and were very pleased. Our room was scrupulously clean and free of dust which is difficult in the desert. The beds were the most comfortable we slept in on this 12 day car trip. We especially loved the totally contactless check in process and keyless entry. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Travel Back to the 50s-A Good Way

Spent a night while waiting to pick up wife & granddaughter. Hilltop had a nostalgic feel, est 1947, of travel in the 50s. Reservation online & all communication, which was great, was through texts, to include room number & access code. Housekeeping staff was friendly & helpful. Only recommendation would be for better signage. Finding the Tavern easy, little mor of a challenge initially locating the room.

The only issues we had were that the wifi was not working. We had to connect to our own hotspot in order to watch some tv. Also the walls are very thin and the vent/ AC that’s connected to all the room is the worst idea. All the noise from the rooms next door would come through. We were stuck between two very loud neighbors who were cracking up very loudly at 2am.
