We just returned from a weekend stay at the Micro-Boutique Hotel in Antigonish. The name is correct, it's a small room but perfectly located and great functionality. Not much interaction with staff required but what we had was great! Overall very good experience.

Stay was seamless . I would of liked to have had a map type layout of the parking spaces and locations availble that were in proximity to lodging. One picture is worth a thousand words.

The water in the shower was hot, hot, or hotter lol there was no cold setting that we could get it to turn to, but other than that, it was great place to stay!

Very small studio apartment --- cramped tiny bathroom. The public space and rooms look nicer on the website than what they really are. Clean enough. Right on the Main Street in the middle of town so convenient for resauarants and shops. Free parking is a bonus. I do not think there are many good accommodation choices in Antigonish.

Our room was simple and clean. No staff on site for check in. If there’s an issue with check in you need to call the number given to you in the check-in procedure email. You need to call between 10am-6pm so if you need help you’re out of luck. The location was great. The parking instructions weren’t clear - we had to ask a tenant about where to park because there is no overnight parking instructions the parking adjacent to the property so you have to find and pay for parking in town and hope your car is still there the next day. It looks like the micro hotel has both tenants and guests staying there. I believe it’s mainly used for university students during the school year so don’t expect too much.

This is the second Micro Boutique room we stayed in and we really like it. It was in central Antigonish so close to everything yet no issues with noise. Clean, everything works, modern, comfortable bed. The only thing that made check-in less than perfect was the parking situation was not clear. We got a very quick response to our enquiry, which was great, but we were told to park in a lot that was clearly signed that overnight parking was not allowed. We did park there and everything was fine, but we were a bit worried. Having clear parking instruction with the check-in details would have been preferable to having to enquire. Otherwise a great stay.
