This property is beautiful. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. Dinner in Churchills was well worth the price. The morning breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff were attentive without hovering. Would definitely recommend to family and friends

Pine Resort reimbursement

Very disappointed with our stay at Pines,we booked a Room at the Hotel but because they were fully booked with Groups they moved us to the Cabin, this Cabins are in very rough shap and not in any kind of shape to be used as Hotel Room replacement. We complained to the Manager and he completely agree with us and is willing to reimburse $100 for each Room but he says it has to go thru HOTEL.COM

We had difficulty with the tv and cable box as they had not been plugged in. The shampoo and body wash containers in the shower were empty. The room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was very good. They had a great selection and the dining room was very nice.

We booked a 2 bedroom cabin with two bathrooms. When we walked into the cabin the smell of sewage was strong. The bathrooms had mold around the tubs. Unfortunate as it is rated high in the Digby area.

A stay at Digby Pines is always an indulgence. I love the history, the beauty, the relaxing spa, the wonderful pool and the rustic cabins. I also enjoy being within walking distance of the town of Digby with its world famous seafood restaurants and lovely vistas.

The Pines has a wonderful feel to it where you can imagine how stately it was when it was originally built. Our room had a beautiful view and a very comfortable bed. The staff were also extremely friendly and eager to be of service. I would say though that the hotel needs some serious TLC to bring it back to what I imagine was its previous gorgeous state. Things like vacuuming the hallways, repainting the walls, upgrading the bathrooms, power washing the outside facade and so on would be some suggestions. So while we really enjoyed our time there, we would only recommend staying there with the above disclaimers.

The staff were excellent however, the elevators were out of order and has been so for 2 months, this is unacceptable. Entry into the hotel has several steps which makes it practically un acess able for anyone with mobility issues. Staffing appeared sparse at best & staff should not have to leave the desk to take luggage up to the third floor, had we had known the elevators were not working we would not have booked. The price was definitely too high for a place without an elevator and we would have had to go down more stairs had we decided to stay for breakfast

No elevator service was a huge problem especially on the 3rd floor. Tablecloths were crumpled - not ironed. The window in our room was sealed shut, so no fresh air. Pool was excellent. Food was very good. Rooms were as quiet as could be in an OLD hotel where activities in adjacent rooms can be heard!

This property has the potential to be absolutely amazing. The grounds are superb! Now it’s tired. Dirty windows and ledges, carpet torn away from flooring, cobwebs on the stairs. I recommend getting the suite, it’s large, which compensates for a small, very small bathroom. Our suite had no desk, wine glasses, or bottled water. It did have lots of power bars and a non functioning coffee maker (this happens). Thank goodness for the absolutely fabulous breakfast! I hope to visit again one day, Digby is a quaint lovely place and the Digby Pines Resort could be a grand hotel. It’s trying…. So close

We stayed at the Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa and paid $498.84 for one night. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Upon entering the room, we were shocked by the condition and overall quality: Unhygienic bed – The bed appeared not to have been properly made and looked as though it had already been slept in. As a result, I was unable to sleep in it and spent the night sitting in a chair. Dated and cramped accommodations – The room was small, outdated, and poorly designed. window could not be opened. Lack of amenities Cramped bathroom Accessibility challenges – The elevator was out of service and has been the last 3 months This left us with no reasonable alternative but to remain in a room that was essentially unusable. I attempted to contact the manager, Amir Ataya, but never received any reply. The lack of response reflects very poor customer service. Overall, this was the most disappointing hotel stay I have ever experienced—closer in quality to a budget roadside motel than a resort. At nearly $500 for one night, the value was appalling. I would strongly caution others against staying at this hotel

The breakfast was very good, so were the servers. The grounds were maintained well. No door stopper on the bathroom door and if it's left a bit ajar it opens gradually and hits the wall disturbing sleep. No duvet or comforter provided for pullout sofa although we got a king and sofa bed for 3. Had to call front desk 3 times for tub not draining, duvet for sofabed, body wash container was empty, had to request it. Bathroom door lock did not work. The guy who brought the bodywash said he could not fix it. Sofa bed no cushion, I can feel the spring although I am 106lbs. Booked because of pool and spa but pool was cold, no heat. Sauna smelled like urine. Elevator did not work while we were there either.

We love this historical property and location, but they may need a refresh on some rooms. We had a slow bathroom drain and a shower faucet that could not be shut off. Also the elevator was not working which did not affect us much, but this property does have many levels connected by stairs. Visitors with mobility limitations would have been impacted.
