We stayed at the Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa and paid $498.84 for one night. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.
Upon entering the room, we were shocked by the condition and overall quality:
Unhygienic bed – The bed appeared not to have been properly made and looked as though it had already been slept in. As a result, I was unable to sleep in it and spent the night sitting in a chair.
Dated and cramped accommodations – The room was small, outdated, and poorly designed. window could not be opened.
Lack of amenities
Cramped bathroom
Accessibility challenges – The elevator was out of service and has been the last 3 months
This left us with no reasonable alternative but to remain in a room that was essentially unusable.
I attempted to contact the manager, Amir Ataya, but never received any reply. The lack of response reflects very poor customer service.
Overall, this was the most disappointing hotel stay I have ever experienced—closer in quality to a budget roadside motel than a resort. At nearly $500 for one night, the value was appalling. I would strongly caution others against staying at this hotel
