For a hotel charging $500+ per night, I would expect at minimum a hot shower. No luck here. When we called the front desk they said there was no one there to help - at 9am on a Sat. Also had a plugged toilet but didn’t bother to ask for help there. Gross.

Never Again

I tired to cancel this reservations multiple times. I tried to cancel it on August14th on the Hotels.com App and it did not go thru. Then I called on the 15th and was told it would be handled. It wasn't cancelled on the 15th, I called on th21st, and again on the 22nd. Nobody would assist me. I will never use Hotels.com or Sonesta Simply again. The customer service by both Hotels.com and the management at Sonesta was terrible. I was charged for a hotel room that I never used.

The facility of this hotel is apparently not in a good shape. The door lock cannot recognize the key card. The bathroom water pressure is very low, even lower than a park campsite shower station.

Ice machine in room refrigerator is turned off and no other way to get ice. No need for an incidental charge. Doors do not lock after being shut, the entrance at the end of the building was open anytime I had to go outside. At check out the front desk attendant was not at the front desk, when I picked up the phone to call the attendant to be checked out, the attendant told me he was busy and needed a few minutes. Little did he know, my significant other was outside waiting for me and she seen him get out of his running vehicle, walk around the building and enter from a different entrance. Completely unprofessional! If it wasn’t close to Michigan Stadium, I would not recommend.

The hotel served our purpose. The hotels in the area all has inflated pricing that night, maybe there was an event going on. I feel like what I paid was about twice what it should have been for the room/hotel. It was clean though and that's my main concern when staying in a hotel.
