Staff were friendly and always available and helpful. Room was very basic but very clean. The common areas (hallways, elevator, stairs) could have been cleaner. Overall, though, it was a sufficient and comfortable stay, especially for the price.

The room showed some wear-and-tear, like the tear in the carpet and signs of wear around the woodwork. But, the bed was comfortable and the locks on the door made me feel safe.

As a traveling nurse, my hotel stays are often short but important, especially after long shifts. Unfortunately, my recent experience at this location of Extended Stay America left much to be desired, particularly when it comes to customer service and first impressions. Upon arrival, I waited approximately 10 minutes at the front desk before being helped. During this time, housekeeping staff attempted to locate the front desk agent by calling and texting him — all without success until he finally appeared. There was no greeting, no smile, and no acknowledgment of the wait. While I understand staff may be stretched thin, basic hospitality and professionalism at check-in are critical, especially when dealing with guests who are arriving after overnight shifts. What added to the frustration was the lack of transparency regarding early check-in fees. I had called the night before to confirm if an early check-in around 10:40am would be possible, given my work schedule. The night auditor assured me it would be fine — no mention was made of a $10 per hour early check-in fee. Had I known, I may have chosen a different hotel chain like Hilton, where I typically receive consistent and professional service for a similar price. The property itself also lacked the cleanliness and polish I’ve experienced at other Extended Stay America locations. Non-smoking room with many signs noting “No Smoking”, yet the room obviously had been smoked in by the previous occupant. When we first checked in, the windows were open and the A/C was on high, but we were met with the very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Room could have used a more thorough cleaning. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the climate control was very consistent in the room.

Unfortunately, my stay at the Extended Stay of America did not meet expectations. The room was smaller than expected, the furniture was worn and dingy, and there was a persistent musty odor that made the environment quite unpleasant. I had booked the stay from Sunday to Wednesday, but due to the poor conditions, I had to check out early. I was only refunded for one night of stay.

Utterly disgusting from arrival till cancellation of reservation when sheets were laid back to find stained sheets with pubic hairs. The entire property smelled of animals and stale cigarettes. The faculty was run down and dirty.

Terrible and dishonest!

This was a terrible hotel experience. They didn’t have the type of room I reserved, they didn’t have a gym (as advertised), and the hotel lost power for one night and morning. I will not be staying here again and I recommend that you don’t either!
